Silent Book Club

Sojourn Booksellers and Daisy Lounge host a Silent Book Club meeting at Guild Designs on the second Wednesday evening of each month. Think of Silent Book Club as a Happy Hour just for readers. Participants arrive at 6:00 p.m.; find a comfortable place to sit in the bookshop, cocktail lounge or outdoor spaces (weather permitting), order a drink (if desired); and say hello to fellow readers. At 6:30 p.m., Silent Reading Hour begins – an entire hour to relax and read in companionable silence in our beautiful space. All you need to bring is a book – any book. At 7:30 p.m. Silent Hour concludes and participants are free to chat with other readers, browse the bookshop, or continue reading.
